Post-Tour Information

Thank you for taking the time to visit Singaraja Montessori School. We hope the tour gave you a clear, honest, and realistic impression of our Montessori environment, our children, and the way we work.

With so many new impressions during a school visit, it is natural that some details may be remembered less clearly afterwards.

This document is intended to support calm reflection after the tour.

Why We Use a Post-Tour Document

We intentionally keep the live school tour focused on:

Observing children in a real, working learning environment
Understanding Montessori by seeing it in practice, not through sales language
Allowing parents to form their own impressions

More detailed information is provided after the tour so you can read everything calmly, without pressure, and reflect together as a family.

Why Montessori at Singaraja

At Singaraja Montessori School, we follow authentic Montessori principles, thoughtfully adapted to our local and international community.

School Structure & Age Groups

We work with mixed‑age groups by design:

Playgroup: from approximately 2.5 years
TK / Kindergarten: ages 4–6
The Youngers: ages 6–9
The Olders: ages 9–12

Mixed‑age classrooms allow children to learn from one another, develop empathy, and grow in confidence as both learners and role models.

Extracurricular Activities

We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities. Some are included in the school fees, while others are available for an additional fee.

Included in school fees:

Vocal (singing)
One musical instrument (via annual material levy)

Additional monthly fee:

Swimming (mandatory)
Yoga
Balinese Dance
Kenpo (martial arts)
Chess

Private lessons (additional fee):

Piano / Keyboard
Guitar (acoustic or electric)
Drums

Availability may vary by age group and schedule.

Important to Know

We do not pressure families to decide quickly
Montessori does not fit every child or every family
A good match between child, family, and school matters more than filling a place

We encourage parents to take time to read and reflect before making decisions.
